Wedding #3

Ok so wedding #3, was a little more casual, the guys wore black jeans and the girls sundresses, but none the less a beautiful wedding! The day was very sunny, so It was a challange to get shots where people were not squinting. The wedding was tiny, and quick so I didnt get as many images of Mark and Kate as I had at other weddings but the results were still very nice. Mark and Kate make a great couple and their three children are absolutly beautiful. I had a ton of fun at this wedding.

Wedding #2

Oh I was nervous - This was the first time for someone who was not family - but once again they had more faith in me than I did. Erica and Adam decided to come to the states from England to get married on Erica’s parents farm. They are such a beautiful couple and we had great weather and awesome landscape for shooting. They choose to not see each other before the ceremony which made the emotions even more raw and beautiful, but also a lot more busy. There were also a few of the wedding party that didn't cooperate on the time schedule - but everything turned out so great! The photos turned out so well that they were even published in the publication “wedding Bells” here is the link to the site: http://www.northstarmedia.net/star/Star.html and you can check out more of the wedding on my website: www.expressivestudios.net

The start of it all

So this is the start of my wedding photography blog - just to keep everyone up-to-date on whats new.
The first wedding I photographed was for my brother and his wife - thank you DJ and Josie for having faith in me and for taking a chance on me. It has started a fire in me and now Im passionate maybe even a little obsessed with photography. My style is a mix, but mostly has a photojournalistic feel, I love to capture the moments with true expressions - not just the "smile for the camera" type shots. But I do understand the need for those too - some people do want grandma and grandpa next to the bride and groom etc. For that reason I would consider my style to be not solely photojournalist. The most important part is making the bride and groom happy and providing them with what they want, and hopefully making them say "Wow" at the end. So here are a few of my favorites from my first wedding.
